On June 29th we were road-tripping home from Bend, OR when we stopped by Yakima Fire Station 91 for a much needed break and some photos. The A-Shifters at Station 91 were super generous with their cold beverages and air conditioning.
I very much enjoy photographing firefighters but I don’t really think of myself as a “photographer”, more of a one trick pony. So when this shoot morphed into family photos including kids and dogs, I really got a bit nervous that I was going to mess it up for all these nice folks (and Gus the dog).
